Meet Our Indianapolis Dental Staff

Led by Amy Marckese, DDS, the DentalSpa team has been trained to treat our patients with five-star hotel treatment. Our team consists of an office manager, assistants, hygienists and a full time massage therapist for that pampering we promised you.

With over 70 years of combined dental experience, our DentalSpa team has the knowledge to address any of your concerns from dental procedures to financial questions.

We encourage you to take advantage of our staff’s knowledge, kindness, and patience – your questions are important to us and so is your comfort.

Dawn Garrett – Patient Coordinator

I am originally from Illinois and have had over 30 years experience in many aspects of the dental field, including the completion of the Expanded Dental Assisting program. I met Dr. Marckese while she was working as an associate in Lafayette, Indiana. I then moved to the Indianapolis area and was ecstatic when she asked me to help her start DentalSpa! My position as Treatment Coordinator has been such a pleasure… from establishing a great one on one personal relationship with our patients, to working with an amazing staff who believes in teamwork, and finally having a doctor who provides the highest quality care and comfort for her patients. I feel very honored and thrilled to be part of the DentalSpa team.

Maureen Jordan (Mo) – Hygienist

After attending Ball State University I graduated from Indiana University-South Bend with a degree in Dental Hygiene in 1997. I have been a full time dental hygienist for 15 years. I have been with DentalSpa since day 1 and I am grateful for the family I have formed here. I also work part time at a pediatric dental office in Fishers. I love the smiles of both children and adults. When not working I enjoy the smiles of my beautiful family: my husband Michael, daughter Maeve who is 3 years old and son Finn who will be 2 in August. We also have two fur babies that we love dearly. Our 12 year old hound mix, Kobe and 5 year old Newfoundland, Frank the Tank. My family and I live in the Butler-Tarkington neighborhood.  We enjoy running and bike riding along the Canal Towpath and the Monon Trail in Broad Ripple. During the summertime we try to find time to enjoy our boat on Lake Monroe.

Michele Woodward – Expanded Duty Dental Assistant

I have been married for 27 years to my best friend and wonderful husband Doug. We look forward to spending time together riding our motorcycles for fun or to help raise money for a worthy cause. One of the many events we enjoy participating in each year is the Riley’s Children’s Hospital Miracle Ride. I graduated from Indiana Vocational Technical College in 1985 as a Certified Dental Assistant and received my Expanded Functions Certificate from IUPUI in 2002. When Dr. Marckese asked me to help her start and be part of DentalSpa in 2004, I was so excited to have the opportunity to work in a non-stereotype dental office. I truly appreciate working with Dr. Marckese because she has incorporated excellent dental care with a touch of relaxation. Her dedication to total family care goes above and beyond that of the typical dental office. Being a part of that is what makes my job so rewarding.

Catie Hunt – Front Office

I joined the Dental Spa team in August 2011 and enjoy working at the front desk and greeting patients! I am also a licensed massage therapist, so I am able to help with providing massages when needed. Spending time with my family is very important to me. I have 3 teenage daughters and a baby boy. I am also fortunate to have an awesome fiancé, Mike, that I look forward to marrying on September 1st of this year. It is a pleasure working with our patients and the Dental Spa team……Dr. Marckese is great too!
